Let us tell you that Ayush Sharma is married to Arpita Khan, younger sister of Salman Khan. Ayush made his Bollywood debut in the year 2018 with the romantic drama ‘Loveyatri’. This film was produced by Salman Khan. After this, Ayush’s next film was Salman Khan Films Production’s ‘Antim: The Final Truth’. Salman Khan was also in this film. However, both these films of Ayush were flops at the box office, after which he had to face severe criticism. One troll even said that Salman Khan “should have launched a dog instead of Aayush.” Recently, Ayush spoke openly about the impact this comment had on him.
What was the impact on Ayush when the dog comparison took place?
Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Aayush said, “That day has made me. I was facing a lot of things till then but when I was compared to a dog that day a thought came to my mind that when my son would grow up and would go on the internet and read about his father that someone had written that ‘His father is a dog’ meant that to me… When my son and daughter grow up they should read good things about their father. They should be proud of me. And a big portal wrote about me that I am a dog, ‘Ayush Sharma is a dog.’
Ayush said that the hateful comments inspired him to work harder on himself. He further said, “Today, I want to thank them, you inspired me to become this person.”
Why did you work outside Salman Khan Productions?
In an earlier conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Aayush had also explained why he had worked outside Salman Khan Productions for ‘Ruslaan’. Ayush had said, “I cannot work only in a family, in a closed environment, because then my growth will also stop. The decision to leave the family for some time and work outside was a conscious decision. It was important for me to move forward, learn myself, evolve and be worthy enough to be called back.
